Privacy Policy

How Adlington Homes collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit our website, request an estimate or get in touch.

Last updated: September 2026

Adlington Homes ("we", "us", "our") is a family-owned builder based in Unanderra, NSW, building custom homes, home extensions, knock-down rebuilds, duplexes, townhouses and commercial strip outs across the Illawarra since 1972. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect through adlingtonhomes.com and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

When you request a free consultation, use our online estimate tool, book a meeting, call us or send an enquiry, we collect the information you choose to give us. This typically includes your name, phone number, email address, property address or suburb, the type of project (for example a custom home, extension, duplex or strip out), your budget range, timeline, block and design details, and anything else you tell us about your project.

When you browse the site we also automatically collect standard technical information, such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, the page that referred you, and — if you arrived from an advertisement — campaign details like UTM parameters and ad click identifiers (for example Google or Facebook click IDs).

You can browse the site without telling us who you are. However, if you do not provide contact details we will not be able to prepare an estimate or respond to your enquiry.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare indicative estimates and quotes, schedule consultations and site visits, plan and deliver your build, and keep you updated about your project.

We may also contact you by phone, SMS or email to follow up on your enquiry, or to share relevant news, projects and offers from Adlington Homes. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by using the unsubscribe link, replying STOP to an SMS, or contacting us directly. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

We use technical and advertising data to understand how visitors find and use our website, measure which of our marketing is working, and improve the site.

3. How We Store And Share Your Information

Enquiries and estimate requests submitted on this site are stored in our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, GoHighLevel, which we use to manage and follow up on enquiries. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare, and our website and advertising are managed by our marketing partner, Contractor Scale.

We only share personal information with people who help us run our business and deliver your project — such as the service providers above, and, where your project needs it, designers, engineers, certifiers, trades and suppliers — and only to the extent they need it. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.

Some of these providers (including GoHighLevel, Google and Cloudflare) may store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information consistently with the APPs.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

4. Cookies, Analytics & Tracking

This site uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Tag Manager and a GoHighLevel tracking script, to measure site traffic, record conversions (such as form submissions and clicks on our phone number) and support our Google and Meta advertising. When you arrive from an ad, we save the campaign details in your browser's local storage so we can see which advertisement led to your enquiry.

You can block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings, and opt out of personalised advertising through your Google and Meta account settings. Some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

5. Keeping Your Information Secure

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Our website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to our CRM is limited to our team and authorised providers. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for business or legal purposes, then securely delete or de-identify it.

6. Accessing And Correcting Your Information

You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us at [email protected] or 0483 948 046. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. In limited cases the law may allow us to refuse access — if so, we will tell you why.

7. Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

8. Accessibility

We want adlingtonhomes.com to be usable by everyone, and we aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. If you have difficulty using any part of the site, or need information in another format, please call or email us and we will help.

9. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for adults planning building projects. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

10. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its revision date.
